We found the best brewery in Vancouver! We heard there were excellent breweries in Vancouver and went in search to find our favourite. Red Truck Brewery is the perfect blend of great beer and fun atmosphere.
While we were lucky enough to collaborate with Red Truck Brewery, all opinions are our own. We really loved and highly recommend this brewery. All our blog posts contain affiliate links that help us keep our blog running at no extra cost to you, it really helps us when you use our links!
Location | Red Truck Brewery
Easy to access from Downtown, we jumped on the metro taking the Expo line at the Granville Station and hopped out at the Science World Station. From there it was an easy stroll to the brewery. The metro is so easy to use in Vancouver, it is really well maintained and fast.

The Brewery | Red Truck Brewery – Best Brewery Vancouver
Red Truck tap room is actually right in front of the brewery. You can see the silos where they brew the beer and watch the going’s on through the glass. The property is quite big, and there’s lots of space. You’ll see the iconic red trucks out front on your arrival. After ordering grab a seat at a high bar and chat inside or chill on the verandah in the sun.
The Red Truck Brewery beer | Best Brewery Vancouver
Mike got a flight of 4 beers to try, each was served in a 16 pint glass. He loves tasting new beers and we hadn’t visited this brewery before. He chose in order of his favourite-
- Haulin’ some mass
- Hard day northwest ipa
- Down under hazy pale ale
- Paloma wheat for his flight
His favourites were easy picks, he loves a fruity beer and an IPA is right up his alley! The HSM went down so well he had to buy a few more before leaving.
As I’m coeliac I can’t drink beer but I can have spirits and the Vodka Remix hit the spot. The lightly flavoured watermelon and lime soda mix was refreshing and not too sweet. The vodka was perfectly balanced.
Red Truck Brewery food
We grabbed some food as it was too tempting! The cool road house style was calling us and we knew they were going to serve up something delicious.
I chose the Baja fries as a gluten free option. My fries were a spicy treat! Crunchy fried topped with cheese, chilli and sour cream, they lived up to their name. Spicy and delicious. Full of flavour and a perfect match with vodka.
Mike took the Truckers Poutine and it was pure cheesy goodness, this was mikes first poutine and he loved it!
The atmosphere at Red Truck Brewery | Best Brewery Vancouver
The Red Truck Brewery is full of truck stop vibes and easy good times! The industrial and retro style really adds character. Fabulous beers with excellent food that really hits the spot, there’s nothing you could improve on here. On Friday and Saturday there’s live music from 5pm. We were there on a Friday and the band was awesome! Acoustic guitar duo that really complemented the vibe.
We loved Red Truck so much that we stayed later than intended. Mike downed another three ‘Haulin Some Mass’ while we enjoyed the music and vibe. Red Truck Brewery is a must visit and is absolutely the best brewery in Vancouver!
